Notes on Yevatem's perception of time
Days on Bothea are twice as long as Earth days. Yevatem generally don't have any specific moment of the day to eat or to sleep, and each town, cities and tribes can have their own routines (as well as each individual can have their own routine too.) They can have three to eight meals a day, and will often prefer to take several big naps in a day rather than to sleep during the entire night or day. They will often eat together in a town or tribe, but cities are often too big to gather everyone in a single place so they have different routines. They often sleep during the hottest times of the day so it's not rare to see entire villages sleeping in the middle of the afternoons. Of course, there's no strict rule about times of a day, other than perhaps the environmental ones.
Vocabulary (sorted from the longest period of time to the shortest)
Eras = Jutarciem
A period of 20 cycles (when Yevat is considered as a mature adult, for reference, or a century on Earth) = Korloga
A cycle (approx. 5 years / 1825 human days) = Loga
Inside of a cycle:
There are 910 Bothean days (a full loga)
Yevatem decompose a cycle into 9 'months', plus 10 'resting days.'
A 'month' lasts 100 Bothean days.
'Month' = Sma / Smaem (months) / Smalej (monthly)
Month 1 = Yesma
Month 2 = Kosma
Month 3 = Rasma
Month 4 = Lusma
Month 5 = Fasma
Month 6 = Sesma
Month 7 = Disma
Month 8 = Posma
Month 9 = Misma
After the 9 full months, 10 days remain to complete the cycle; these 10 days complete the "tenth month," and end the cycle.
The 10 'resting days' = Dezasma (the tenth month) or Dezasmaem (the 10 days from the month) (depends on the region.)
They enjoy this specific time not to work (they prepare before and stock food, etc) and all enjoy holidays. They also enjoy this time to meet loved ones, to sing and to dance. If a new Velilyevat has to be selected, or if an important change in the cycle has to be made, it'll be at this period of the cycle as well. Consider it a bit like an equivalent of Christmas, but without the religious aspect nor the gifts!

Horoscope
Yevatem don't celebrate one's birthday, and probably won't really remember the exact day of someone's hatching. (Check their important life events instead!) They do however like to have sayings about the months of birth. These sayings aren't very popular as they are often proven untrue, but some people like to be aware of them just for fun.
Some Yevatem say that the important month is the one when the egg is laid, others prefer to think it's when the egg hatches.
This horoscope isn't to be taken as a truth, but more as shady beliefs that some like to have, and the month of birth doesn't have to define your Yevat. It's mostly here to be used as inspiration if you want some to develop your character's personality!

Yesma born, "the independant"
Qualities: independant, forgiving.
Defaults: lonely, shy, defeatist.
"Those born in Yesma tend to learn quickly how to live by themselves and not to depend on anyone. They're also fast-learners and clever children. Their independance is often admired by others, but when digging a little, it may be in fact the result of a lack of care for others, or a shyness. In their good days, Yesma born Yevatem can be discreet and good friends for their patience and forgiving qualities. In their bad days, they can give up on communities and become hermits."
Kosma born, "the sensitive"
Qualities: enthusiastic, spontaneous, sensitive.
Defaults: anxious, aggressive, offensant.
"Those born in Kosma are the sensitive ones. Their emotions tend to overcome them. They might develop their Rokyevat form earlier than everyone else for this reason. In their good days, Kosma born Yevatem tend to be empathetic and understanding ones. They can also share the weirdest things, or to be the driving forces. In their bad days, they often don't have room for other's feelings anymore and can become offensant."
Rasma born, "the adventurer"
Qualities: optimistic, curious.
Defaults: hot-tempered, hasty.
"Those born in Rasma are the adventurers. They often can't stand to stay in the same region or town for their whole life. Young, they tend to explore all of their surroundings and to map them, and lost children are often Rasma born. They may seem to always be in the move. In their good days, Rasma born Yevatem can be playful, curious, and a refreshing sight every day. In their bad days, they'll lose patience and can simply leave wherever they currently are to avoid their problems."
Lusma born, "the friend"
Qualities: kind, calm, loyal.
Defaults: naive, susceptible.
"Those born in Lusma tend to be excellent friends. They're often clever in the domain they love, can be passionate, and can also be devoted to their loved ones. But their natural kindness doesn't really understand why could anyone be mean, so they're also often naive. In their good days, Lusma born Yevatem are loyal and of a good company, or maybe hard-working on a specific project they love. In their bad days, they might be disappointed by others, or even used against their will for a bad project they think is good."
Fasma born "the star"
Qualities: proud, generous, self-confident.
Defaults: hard to please, narcissistic.
"Those born in Fasma can't be missed. They can be resplendent, wear colorful ornaments, or be loud or boastful. They tend to love others but also themselves, or to know the value of things and people. They tend to give and take and it's not so rare to see them as merchants, for example. In their good days, Fasma born Yevatem can be leaders or entertainers, true extroverts giving themselves to the people just to see sparkles in their eyes. In their bad days, they might say that no one or nothing is worth who they are and can become dark."
Sesma born, "the brain"
Qualities: ambitious, clever.
Defaults: manipulator, liar.
"Those born in Sesma can be discreet or noticeable, and they often use their brain a lot. They might think for a long time before taking any decision, which often proves itself right or positive for themselves. It's rare to trick them and they're often pretty good at solving problems of any kind. Children, they often can see when their parents lie or omit the truth. In their good days, Sesma born Yevatem might help the community with gestion, management, and strategies of any kind, or simply to help a friend with a problem. In their bad days, they might manipulate others to avenge themselves or to obtain something."
Disma born, "the right hand"
Qualities: reliable, openminded.
Defaults: mistrustful, cold.
"Those born in Disma can be right hands of a leader, protectors, builders or anything, they'll often make sure that their job is well-done. They often listen to others and can be reliable, to the condition you earned their trust first, which can be hard. Leaders born during this month will often seek a friend to help them lead. They thrive in groups and cooperation, and naturally understand crowds. In their good days, Disma born Yevatem will take time and might give extra effort to what they think is worth fighting for - may it be a person, a community, a place or anything else. In their bad days, they might close themselves to everything, or can easily feel betrayed."
Posma born, "the mountain"

Defaults: resentful, stubborn.
"Those born in Posma are often good friends, and in general excellent members of the community. They tend to be patient and hard-workers, and are often ready to help for anything. They often have a sense of self-sacrifice that they ignore. In their good days, Posma born Yevatem can build a house for someone they just met or fight a wild Varveleil to protect the lands. In their bad days, they can be as motionless as a mountain or striclty refuse to change their mind about something."
Misma born, "the artist"
Qualities: creative, patient.
Defaults: perfectionist, sulky.
"Those born in Misma are often seen creating and designing things. They might be bothered by two houses which aren't aligned, or will find beauty in the perfect range of teeth the Varveleil attacking them has. They can cherish order, or on the contrary enjoy watching the natural chaos. In their good days, they might make sure that the life of everyone is enlighted by colors, songs, or simply nice designs. In their bad days, they can become hard to manage if they want everyhting to be absolutely perfect, and can waste time to perfect something already functional."
Dezasma born, "the unusual"
Qualities: leadership, intelligent, charismatic.
Defaults: self-doubt, authoritary, seclusion.
"Those born in Dezasma are the rarest of all, since their "month" lasts only ten days, compared to the hundred regular days of other months. For this reason they tend to be a good omen, and it might be a weight for them: parents often expect a lot from them. It's said they can become good leaders and that they're often beautiful, but it's probable that their rarity plays a role in these rumors. In their good days, Dezasma born Yevatem might try their best, or even be charismatic leaders perhaps. In their bad days, they might be afraid to disappoint others, to the point they can fall into seclusion.
