Here are a few details: - Any bodytype is possible - Any gender is possible - Hands and feet always have two thumbs - Ears always have two tips - They always have a tail - They have a feline nose and dot eyebrows - They can have any kind of horns and hair - They have a defensive and aggressive form - There is no sexual dymorphism Species concept YokaMycelium Artworks YokaMycelium You are not allowed to copy or trace anything. This concept is under copyright. Unless you own a MYO (make your own) slot, your are not allowed to make your own. |
Just like Humans, Yevatem can vary in size and shapes. Just note that there is no sexual dimorphism, so a female can be buff and have beard, and a male can be thin and short with wide hips, for example. They can be as short as 1.20m/3'9" (under this size, they'll be considered as dwarfs (UT)) - and as tall as 2.50m/8'2" (above this size would make thm giants (UT)). They can be short, tall, thin, muscular, fat, etc. Most of Yevatem are covered with a bare skin which can have varied colors and markings, but some can naturally bear fur, or really thin scales (common.) Fur can be found anywhere, but basic Yevat traits (such as the cat snout, the hands, etc) must remain visible. Scales can be thin as a snake's, or sometimes slightly bigger on the forearms or the feet (but larger scales/plates/dragon like will be a unique trait.) Read more about fur and scales here! |
Head details
Every Yevat has a feline nose (any feline) and dot eyebrows. Their neck is generally longer than a Human's, but it's not mandatory. Their bones often look more pointy / more protruding, but it's not mandatory either. They can have horns, or not. The number, shape and size of the horns is not limited on the head, to the point it can even replace their hair or beard if you want. Or, they can have none and be fully bald. It's up to you! |
A Yevat's eyes, nose, and/or lips can naturally glow (free) but it's not mandatory.
The glow can slightly overpass the eyes, nose and lips (for example, to reach the eyelids) but only slightly (free.) The glow cannot be "turned off", otherwise it would be considered as abnormal glow. Any other kind of bioluminescence will be considered as a unique trait (for example, other body parts glowing, or glow that can be turned off.) |
Eyes
Yevatem have two eyes. They can have pupils, or be pupilless. Their pupils can be either round (like Humans), slit (like cats), or goat-like. The eye color is not limited, and can be any color. The sclera doesn't have to be whitish, it can be darker or more colored as well. Even the pupil can be colored! |
Ears
Yevatem have two ears, just like Humans. Their ears can be any shape (here are examples, but you don't have to stick with them) and they always have two tips. It's a remnant gene from their ancestors, who used to have four ears. The ears can also be any length, as long as it's not abnormally long (shoulders is the limit - bigger than this will require a unique trait.) They can be mismatched. They can exceptionally have one tip instead of two, if the ear has been injured (must be obvious/have scars.) |
Mouth and tongues
A Yevat's mouth can naturally have lips. It can resemble a Human's, or it can be wider (opening slightly on the cheeks.) Fangs and tusks can protrude from it (free) but it's not mandatory (unless for children, who can't retract their teeth while they grow.) Their set of teeth can be really varied, from flat teeth to all pointy teeth, crooked teeth, etc. They also can bear really large fangs and tusks, and look like Onis (free.) Go wild with them! Their tongue is often thick and long. It can be split or not. Some have protruding papillaes and can have fancy tongues (free.) |
Rest of the body
A Yevat peculiarity is the presence of two thumbs on their hands and feet.
The hands always have five (5) fingers, with two opposable thumbs.
The feet, on the contrary, can be more varied! They can have four (4), five (5), or six (6) fingers (they can't be mismatched, unless injury.)
The toes can look like fingers or toes, or even appear animal-like, but there's no pawpads.
Their feet are very flexible, and so are their feet thumbs. They can move them a lot and can often grab things with. The feet thumbs often have bigger claws than the other fingers (not mandatory), and it mostly helps them for climbing.

Tails
A Yevat always has a tail. They use it for balance and to cool down by dipping it in fresh water, as they have a generous amount of blood in there. A tail injury can be dangerous for them. Most of time, the tail is long and flexible enough to grab things as well, but not firmly (can't carry heavy weights, for example, but can pick up an object that fell on the ground.)
The tail can store fat and can be thicker than a leg, or on the contrary be as thin as a rat's. Its length can also vary a lot, from a small numb above the butt to two meters long for the craziest.
Tails aren't included in the fur or feather's regular limitation, so they can be fully covered with them if desired. They can even have fancy feather crowns like a chicken, or a tuft of fur at the tip like a lion! (Free)

Colors and markings
A Yevat's color and markings can be pretty wild, but keep one important keyword in mind: it must look natural. They can have any color as long as: - There's no pure white or pure black, since it doesn't exist in nature - It's not covered only with heavily saturated colors/neons The markings must not represent anything real, or it must look like an accident. For example, it' possible to find cats with a heart-shaped spot on the fur, but it will never be a perfect heart as Humans design it. Accidental spots making something that looks like a flower will be allowed as well, for example, just like we can sometimes see shapes in the clouds. But things like a perfectly made star in the middle of the torso will look heavily unnatural. |
Tattoos, accessories
Yevatem are civilized people. They can wear clothes and any kind of accessory! Jewlery, scarfs, beads in the hair... You name it. They can also bear scars, or even bigger injuries like missing limbs. They can also have tattoos and bodypainting. Their imagination (and yours) is the only limit ~ Although a naked Yevat will not be badly seen (their genitals aren't visible) and is even quite frequent, they see clothes and accessories as a way to have some style. |
Children
A child is named a "Deyevat." Deyevatem are easy to recognize, as they have peculiarities: - They walk and run on all four, and only stand up when reaching adulthood or their teenage years - They do not have their Rokyevat form yet (can't snap) - Their teeth are growing to prepare for their Rokyevat form, and they can't retract them as long as they're not fully grown. So they often have protruding teeth - It's not mandatory, but their tail (when long enough) tend to curl up a lot Deyevatem have a lot of energy and love to explore their surroundings a lot. They don't fully understand the notions of danger, and must be protected. Read more about them here. |
Genes and keratin
Yevatem have a strange gene pool. They're built in such way that, if they have a defective gene, it'll be replaced by another. It can lead to strange events and unique traits and powers can appear (click for guide.) If these traits can vary a lot, there's one that they all suffer from: an overproduction of keratin. Keratin is responsible for the hair and claws growth, but also for their horns (which are solid hair.) All along their life, their hair, claws and horns will never cease to grow. They must often cut and groom them. It's not mandatory to show it on your designs, but hermits and old Yevatem tend to have longer laws encircling their ankles, hair to the ground and beyond, and possibly a cluster of horns mixing with the hair. |
The Rokyevat form
Yevatem all possess an ability to "snap" and to unlock a more aggressive version of themselves. This ability is named the Rokyevat, or the defensive form, and is unlocked when they are teenagers.
Strong feelings are what can cause a Yevat to snap into their rokyevat form. Fear, sadness, anger, or an imminent danger are often enough to trigger it. If it tends to be triggered by negative feelings, positive ones can sometimes do it as well. An intense joy can cause the teeth to grow, for example. Depending on the individual, they can transform in a few seconds only, or in a longer time.
Every Yevat / Velilyevat's transformation will be different for each individual. Some will become twice as big, some will barely change. And each individual will experience it differently; for some, it'll be a dose of adrenaline and they'll keep full control, for others, it might be painful and they can lose control. In general, the Rokyevat form is used when a Yevat or Velilyevat needs to fight or to protect themselves or something they love. It can also be used for hunting.

Every Rokyevat form is different, but here's what will always change:
- The body will grow. The Yevat will be bigger, larger, taller, and generally stronger. It can be a light change, or grow twice as big!
- The natural body weapons will grow and harden. Teeth, horns and claws will quickly become even more deadly!
- Teeth are especially known to grow a lot and sometimes to twist, and the mouth and jaw will often open larger to host them. It's also common that the number of teeth change to have more. The lips tend to become like a dog's where it spilts open.
And here's what can change, but don't always do:
- Horns can sprout even if there was none before. They can also split or change shape!
- Bones can elongate, become more pointy and more visible. It can change the Yevat's posture and make them look more animal. It's also possible to have them regress and to run on all four.
- Eyes color and pupils can change and be drastically different (no limit)
- Colors and markings can slightly change (not completely different, but it can get more saturated, darker, clearer, gain patches of new colors, gain new and more complex markings or on the contrary, lose colors or markings - the Yevat must still remain recognizable)
- Hair can grow, become thicker, and even look like a mane
- Unique traits and powers can appear
- Etc.

Image 1: We can notice the horns getting bigger and splitting, the neck elongating, and the pupils slowly fading. The mouth also enlarges for the teeth to grow into tusks, so much that it almosts reaches the ears. The colors are also slightly more saturated!
Image 2: This Rokyevat form is less impressive, but still works! Teeth and hair grow, pupils change into slits, but the Yevat is barely bigger than before. Although he for sure gained in physical strength and endurance!
